Design-partner programme · 30 days · free

Test one real decision workflow in Alvo — and help us make the product better.

Alvo is currently free: we are accumulating market data and learning which tools are genuinely useful. A design partner picks one market or zone and one workflow, uses Alvo alongside its usual process, and tells us what works and what does not. An accountable person still approves every decision.

30 days1 workflow · 1 market/zoneNo automated order submission

Who it is for

The programme works when your team already makes a recurring decision.

The best fit is a professional team that can appoint a workflow owner and tell us what in Alvo helps and what gets in the way.

Trading and portfolio management

DAM/IDM, entry thresholds, volume, fees, imbalance risk, and the decision before gate closure.

Risk and market analytics

One view of sources, data freshness, forecast band, assumptions, and the rationale for a decision.

BESS and flexibility teams

One agreed charge/discharge case over live prices; reserve-market demo assumptions stay labelled.

Data and integration teams

Test whether the available data and exports fit your analytics process, without automated execution.

Scope

One workflow, narrow enough to learn honestly in 30 days whether Alvo is useful.

We record the scope in a short note at the start. New markets, execution automation, and separate integrations are not part of the programme.

What is included

  • A short kickoff call and a written scope note
  • One market or bidding zone and one priority workflow
  • Configuration of your volumes, fees, thresholds, and gate times in the workspace
  • A regular feedback exchange in a format that suits both sides
  • A closing conversation: what to improve, and whether it is worth continuing

What we ask from you

  • A workflow owner who approves decisions
  • Market or zone, gate times, and a description of the current workflow
  • Volumes, fees, and risk limits — never secrets or passwords
  • Honest feedback: what helps, what gets in the way, what is missing
  • Private data only if it is genuinely needed, and only after a written agreement on access, retention, and deletion

What you get

Five things you get in 30 days — free of charge.

In return we ask for your experience of using it: that is what decides what we improve next.

01Configured decision workflow

Agreed market, date, and gate context, volume, fees, thresholds, and the human approval role.

02Live market workspace

Available prices, sources, timestamps, data freshness, regional context, and forecast status for the chosen scope.

03Inspectable decision package

Trade date, market/zone, assumptions, formula, forecast band and status, human approval, and methodology link.

04Decision ledger and export

A sample of decisions over the period and an export for review; missing or demo fields remain explicitly labelled.

05Closing review

A comparison with your usual process, open data gaps, and a shared conclusion on what to improve next.

Timeline

30 days from kickoff to a conclusion.

The clock starts once the scope is written down and the needed inputs are ready. We adapt the pace to your team.

  1. Day 1Kickoff

Agree the workflow, roles, current practice, needed data, and access boundaries.

  2. Days 2–5Configuration

Configure available sources, thresholds, fees, volumes, and the package template.

  3. Days 6–21Side-by-side use

Use Alvo alongside the current process; a person still approves every decision.

  4. Days 22–27Feedback

Review together what was useful, where data was missing, and what got in the way.

  5. Days 28–30Wrap-up

Record the conclusions and agree what Alvo should improve.

Success criteria

Measure process quality, not a promised trading outcome.

The starting point is recorded at kickoff, before the first decision in the programme. If a metric lacks enough data, that is a data gap — not a positive result.

Package completeness100% of sampled packages

Trade date, source and freshness, assumptions, status, and human approval are present.

Workflow useAt least 10 reviewed packages

Or another written minimum for a lower-frequency workflow.

Decision timeCompared with current practice

Compare median decision time with no pre-set improvement.

Data fit0 hidden critical gaps

Every absence, backup source, or demo assumption is visible before the decision.

Profit, forecast accuracy, and savings are not guaranteed and are not criteria of the programme.

Security and data boundary

Define the boundary before private inputs enter it.

Taking part needs no customer data. If some is needed, access, retention, deletion, and allowed users are agreed in writing before the first upload.

No external model egress

The deterministic Alvo core computes the numbers; market and customer data is not sent to an external LLM.

Human approval

Alvo provides decision support. It does not submit market orders or replace the accountable trader.

Least-data scope

We take only fields needed for the one agreed workflow; never put secrets or passwords in the application form.

Written controls

Before any private data is used, agree the access list, retention and deletion, and whether a DPA is needed.

What is live — and what is not

The programme never presents demo data as live.

Data availability for the selected market and date is checked again at kickoff.

Live today

  • — Official Market Operator DAM/IDM prices and ENTSO-E flows for the supported workflow
  • — Supported regional day-ahead zones with source attribution
  • — Forecast band, decision brief, audit context, and exports — with status and data freshness

Demo or conditional

  • — Imbalance risk: live only on observed inputs; test data remains demo
  • — BESS reserve economics: demo assumptions until a licensed market feed exists
  • — Private inputs or integration: only after agreement on scope, access, and retention

Not included

  • — Automated market-order submission or execution
  • — Any guarantee of profit, forecast accuracy, or trading uplift
  • — Payments and contracts, out-of-scope markets, and unlicensed raw feeds

Next step

Describe the one workflow you want to test.

Do not send passwords, API keys, or sensitive trading data. A market or zone, your team role, and the decision you make today are enough.

We reply personally to the email you give. The programme is small, so we take participants in gradually.

Leave a contact — we'll walk Alvo through your tasks (DAM/IDM, risk, BESS, or API) and answer your questions. The demo workspace is already open, but the live walkthrough we'll do together.

By submitting, you agree we may contact you about a demo. Your details are not shared with third parties and won't go into marketing emails without your consent.
